Why subscribe to High, Wide, and Handsome?
Clearly not because I am handsome. I took that line from a poster on my wall that is a painting of a Tex Ritter type character with a guitar singing High, Wide, and Handsome. It’s also the name of a 1937 Western movie starring Randolf Scott who in my mind was the greatest western actor of all time. He stood for truth and justice.
If you subscribe to HW&H you will be part of an attempt to bring civility back to the discussion of our differences and how we overcome them in a way that truly makes our county great.

Be part of the conversations. You don’t have to agree. State your case. But do it respectfully. This is not a platform for argument. I will ask questions and am genuinely interested in hearing your answers and understanding where you are coming from. I think if we listen to and think about each other’s perspectives we will find ourselves more alike than different. Although, different is OK. After all “variety is the spice of life”.
